The Destiny is Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship to join the fleet, officially setting sail on November 20, 2025, which means now is the perfect time to start planning your cruise outfits.

Even though the Destiny is in the same class as the Disney Wish, this ship is bringing all-new themes, restaurants, and character moments straight from some of Disney’s most iconic heroes and villains.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited about a Disney Cruise ship before. Nearly everything on board features my favorite characters and movies. Honestly, if they had squeezed Robin Hood in somewhere, I probably would’ve set up shop and lived happily ever after at sea.

Before we dive in, a reminder that these are just a few outfit ideas meant to inspire your own creativity. Always shop your closet first before buying all new pieces! And if you love the looks but want something tailored to your style or family, we offer custom outfit planning services and would be thrilled to design something just for you.
Big Hero Six Baymax Outfit for the Disney Destiny
The Destiny’s ship-wide theme centers around heroes and villains, and I was beyond thrilled to see Big Hero 6 finally getting the love it deserves - even if it’s just as a stateroom theme. Big Hero 6 is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies (and one of the most underrated!), so I’m personally manifesting a Baymax meet-and-greet aboard this ship. I need that inflatable hug.

Even if he doesn’t make an appearance, this Baymax-inspired outfit still fits the theme perfectly. We styled it after his superhero armor, but you can easily swap the red pinafore for a pink one to create a Honey Lemon bound instead! Baymax merch is surprisingly hard to find, so if you’re hunting for that Loungefly, you’ll want to check resale sites.
Lion King Outfit for the Disney Destiny
One of the best parts about a Disney cruise is the entertainment and dining. During one of your dining rotations, you get to experience a musical dining experience based on a beloved Disney movie. Each ship has a different show, and the Destiny is now home to a brand new performance of The Lion King with Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King.

This look is perfect for your Lion King dining night and cute enough to rewear when you disembark! If matching sets aren’t your thing, break it up:
Top + skirt or jeans
Pants + Lion King graphic tee for a casual vibe
We paired this outfit with ears, but remember to remove them once the show starts so you’re not blocking anyone behind you!
Hercules Outfit for the Disney Destiny
Bless my soul, I finally have a reason to wear my Hercules merch again! Not only are Hercules-themed staterooms a thing (praise Zeus), but the Destiny is debuting an exclusive Hercules stage show.

We had about three different versions of this look, but this tee-and-satin-skirt combo won thanks to how the clouds and stars blended together. When styling graphic tees, I like to roll the sleeves and tuck in the hem for a more polished look. This skirt represents the Muses, but since satin can fold at the midsection, I recommend using a tuck band for a smoother finish.
Marvel Outfit for the Disney Destiny
While other ships host Marvel Day at Sea, the Destiny fully integrates Marvel into its story. It’s even home to Disney Cruise Line’s first-ever Marvel atrium statue - Black Panther. Plus, just like on the Wish and the Treasure, Worlds of Marvel is part of the dining rotation.

Bubble hems are back in style, which means this dress can easily be reworn at Disney Parks or for weekend events. Most Marvel heroes wear red or red accents, so you can accessorize based on your favorite Marvel character.
Cruella Outfit for the Disney Destiny
We’ve celebrated the heroes, now it’s time for a villain moment. The Destiny is home to De Vil’s Lounge, where you can sip cocktails to the sound of a polka dot piano. Yes, really.

These fabulous ears are from Little Ears Boutique. I’ll link a few alternate items like faux fur coats so you can layer differently depending on your style. The adult lounges are always our favorite spots on Disney Cruise Line, and dressing up makes it even more fun! Cruella is confirmed to make appearances, so this outfit doubles as a meet-and-greet photo op.
I’ll also link some of our Merida, Haunted Mansion, and Frozen outfits - all great matches for themes found on the Destiny. We cannot wait to set sail on this ship. If you’re one of the lucky ones boarding soon, please come back and tell us everything!
Until then, remember, theme park (or cruise) fashion doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to make you smile.
