The Disney Treasure is the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line family. It just set sail in November of 2024 and is quickly gaining popularity due to its beautiful design and artistic details that, in my opinion, set Disney apart from all other cruise lines.

At first, I wasn’t all that excited about the new edition. The Treasure is the sister ship to the Disney Wish, meaning that it is the exact same class and size as the Wish with very similar structural designs, restaurants, and experiences. After we cruised on the Wish back in November, I had decided that the Triton class of ships just wasn’t for me.

But Disney did what they do best, and they have completely sold me on giving this a try. After watching vlogs and seeing photos of this ship, I am now currently trying to figure out how to budget and fit a seven day cruise into my life. I was completely blown away by the ship and was inspired to create outfits based on the stunning themes found throughout your sailing. Because the current ship's itinerary is lengthy, these outfits were planned with light packing in mind. We wanted to create looks and use pieces that you can rewear on your sailing.

Lauren and I have planned these 5 looks to help get the outfit planning ideas going based on a variety of styles. But, if you’re interested in something a little more customized to your style preferences and interests, you can check out our customized outfit planning services!

Captain Minnie

We are going to start with the main mouse herself, Captain Minnie. Both Mickey and Minnie have had their fair share of adorable costumes on board the Disney Cruise Line, but this new outfit specifically for the Treasure really takes the cake for me. I love it simply because it ties into the ship's theming so beautifully. She’s ready to take on adventure and find some treasure of her own with this look.

This Captain Minnie-inspired outfit for the Disney Treasure is the perfect nautical Disneybound! It features a chic sleeveless top paired with a navy skirt adorned with elegant gold polka dots, capturing the ship's grand and adventurous spirit. The look is completed with Disney Treasure-themed accessories, adding the perfect finishing touch for a stylish day at sea

This outfit isn’t a true DisneyBound, but we wanted to weave together parts of her costume within the look. We love this skirt, as the polka dots are essential for Minnie, but also thought it would work well if you wanted to incorporate it into other outfits, as the color scheme of it fits perfectly for the Treasure’s grand hall. Looking for a casual option for this look? Victoria Wade created an adorable DisneyBound for her cruise

Aladdin

The grand halls of Disney Cruise ships are always impressive, and the Disney Treasure’s might be my new favorite. One of the traditions of DCL is featuring a statue of a Disney character in the grand hall. Not only are Aladdin and Jasmine the centerpiece of the atrium, but you can find beautiful details of this movie intertwined all around this space. We’ve seen videos of Jasmine, Aladdin, and even Genie greeting guests as they board their sailing.

This Aladdin-inspired outfit for the Disney Treasure is a magical mix of comfort and style! It features a Genie graphic tee paired with a flowing blue bohemian skirt, creating a whimsical and adventure-ready look. Gold accessories add the perfect touch of Agrabah-inspired elegance, making this outfit perfect for exploring the ship in Disney-bound style.

You could go with any Aladdin-themed graphic tee, but we liked the way the blues and golds worked with this Genie one. The sandals are a great neutral and easy to pack for multiple outfits during your cruise. If you’re wanting a full Genie DisneyBound outfit, we have one planned over on our blog for 1900 Park Fare, which you can see here!

Haunted Mansion

Of all the offerings on the cruise, the Haunted Mansion themed bar was what peaked my interest for the Disney Treasure the most. It is my favorite Disney attraction, and just from the concept art that was released early on, I knew this was going to be much more than just a bar. You’ll find so many details hidden in this space. If you want a sneak peek at the surprises and spirits that wait for you here, check out Mammoth Club’s video where they speak to one of the Imagineers who helped design and create the magic of the ride within the cruise ship.

This Haunted Mansion-inspired outfit for the Disney Treasure is perfect for any foolish mortal! It features a gothic black knee-length dress with an elegant yet eerie vibe, paired with Haunted Mansion-themed accessories that add a touch of ghostly glamour.

The idea behind this outfit was once again, dual purpose. When I saw this dress, I knew it could double as the main piece for a pirate night look. Even the boots and tights can transition you into your pirate adventures for the evening. Just swap your spooky accessories for some pirate themed ones, and you’ll be set for the entire day!

Jungle Cruise

The Disney Treasure’s design and theming was inspired by Walt Disney’s love for adventure and exploration. And although it has plenty of Disney movies and characters featured around the ship, I truly appreciate the way the imagineers created spaces for Disney theme park attractions. Disney’s Jungle Cruise is a deeply beloved Disney park attraction centered around discovering new parts of the world while a jungle skipper guides you through the jungle with humor and wit.

This casual Jungle Cruise-inspired outfit for the Disney Treasure is perfect for an adventurous day at sea! It features a green and white button-up shirt, giving off a relaxed safari vibe, paired with beige Minnie ears for a subtle Disney touch. Nautical jewelry adds a seafaring element, making this look a fun blend of jungle exploration and high-seas adventure.

We wanted to create a casual outfit that you could wear to the Skipper Society, a Jungle Cruise themed bar, but also wanted the outfit to be something that would make sense for a day at sea or even while you explored a new port. The helm necklace and compass necklace are both great for general cruise themed outfits, and again, would make great additions to any pirate night outfit!

Aristocats

Yes, I know that this outfit theme is created around ANOTHER themed bar, but stay with me, I have a plan! The Scat Cat Lounge is an adorable Aristocats themed piano bar located on the 3rd floor. If you’ve been on the Disney Wish and enjoyed Nightingale’s, you will love this place. This is the perfect spot to grab a nightcap or just enjoy the entertainment during the evening. But, if you are not wanting to just wear this to a piano bar, this look would also be perfect for an evening at Enchanté. While Enchanté is themed Beauty and the Beast, it serves French-inspired cuisine, and Marie would highly approve of the menu.

This elegant Aristocats-inspired outfit for the Disney Treasure is perfectly chic and charming! It features a white ruffle and bow top, paired with a soft pink skirt for a touch of Parisian elegance. A piano-shaped crossbody bag adds a musical flair, while Marie-themed jewelry completes the look with a dainty, feline-inspired touch—ideal for any Aristocats Disney fan.

Lauren loves styling Marie-inspired looks, as the Aristocats is one of her favorite movies. We of course wanted this look to feel soft with the pinks, but Marie is also a wonderfully strong and sophisticated feline, so I love how the piano accessories allowed us to bring in a bold color. If skirts aren’t your thing, we will link a pair of pants that would also look great with everything else! We have more Marie-inspired looks over on our Riviera Resort blog if you would like even more purr-fect ideas!

There are so many more possibilities to add to this list. The Disney Treasure really provides so many fun themes and ideas for you to explore. We hope one day to be able to walk aboard this ship and see it for ourselves!

As always, we hope you find this helpful. And remember theme park (or cruise!) fashion doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to make you smile.
