5 LGBTQ+ Shops to Support YEAR-ROUND

Updated: Jul 24, 2024

LGBTQ+ OWNED THEME PARK INSPIRED SMALL SHOPS

Happy Pride Month! While we love being able to celebrate Pride month all of June, it’s important to us to celebrate this community year-round.

If you are a theme park enthusiast, these 5 small shops are owned by members of the LGBTQ+ community. They all bring unique and creative designs to the table. We HIGHLY encourage you to follow and shop their stores!

Littlest Bow Shoppe

Terry is an incredible baker by day and ear maker by night! She makes beautiful, comfortable ears. She has a variety of designs, but is also open to custom orders (including Muppets!) I loved my cruise ears that I ordered for our trip on the Dream. They are so comfortable and made with such high quality! Make sure you check out the Littlest Bow Shoppe for your next trip.

Great Big Bag of Trinkets

I first started following Olivia because I loved their Disney style and fashion and was thrilled to find out they also owned a small shop! Olivia creates earrings and other accessories that are Disney and pop culture-inspired. I adore my Muppet earrings that Olivia worked to create for me and my non-pierced ears. You can check out their shop over on Etsy.

The Wonder Studio

Words cannot express how much I look up to this shop. From their communication to their impeccable designs, The Wonder Studio has created a brand that captures everything that should exist within a small business. Not only are they queer-owned, but part of your purchase of their incredible Pride collection will go towards The Trevor Project. You can shop their site here.

Banana Planet Co

With Epic Universe opening up next year, you’re going to need some Nintendo-inspired accessories to go with your fits. Sarah makes the absolute cutest earrings for your Mario-loving needs. I am particularly obsessed with her SNES cartridge earrings. She also has a lot of other gaming accessories that are just too cute! Please make sure you follow her account and check out her Etsy shop!

Mad Tea Party by Gilly

When we were looking for some fun button-ups for a Pride Night look for a client, we stumbled upon Mad Tea Party by Gilly. We love their bright, colorful designs and size inclusivity! They also have dresses with the most important design feature...pockets! Please check out their shop on Etsy.

We have also partnered with Olivia and are raising money for the Metro Trans Umbrella Group of St. Louis. Olivia has styled a template for us, and 50% of the profits will be donated to MTUG!

If you are unable to financially support them at this time, following, sharing, and interacting with their accounts is also a great way to support their shops.

Please think of these small businesses for your next magical vacation, any time of the year!
