If you have started outfit planning for your Disney vacation, don’t forget to pack a swimsuit! I know it’s probably last on the list, but if you plan on spending any time at your resort or are headed on a Disney Cruise, you really should make sure it makes your packing list.

I really can’t stress enough that rest days are so important on a Disney vacation. While it is the most magical place on earth, it’s also beyond exhausting trying to complete 4 park days in a row, especially with kids! There are 25 hotels on the Walt Disney World property, and they all offer wonderful accommodations. Take advantage of the incredibly themed pools, and soak in the sun.
As previously mentioned on our post about what to pack on a Disney Cruise, I would strongly suggest packing two swimsuits. I know it sounds excessive, but your suit (and your kiddo’s) will take a long time to dry in your stateroom. To avoid having to put on a wet swimsuit when you’re ready for more AquaMouse, having a second swimsuit on hand becomes essential to staying warm!

Here at Once Upon a Wardrobe, we love dressing to a theme, and that includes our swimwear. So, we’ve rounded up this season’s options for Disney themed swimsuits for adults, kids, and babies!
Disney Character Coded Swimsuits for Adults
These swimsuits are great for tying in classic Disney colors without committing to a full Disney theme. You can easily add some Mickey accessories like these cute BaubleBar earrings to give it a little Disney flare!

We are particularly obsessed with this polka dot swimsuit! Pair it with some red retro sunglasses and some red lipstick, and you’re set to impress Minnie Mouse!
Disney Print Swimsuits for Adults
If you’re a Disney Parks or Disney Cruise regular, you might be looking for a swimsuit that is a little more Disney themed. This first option from Flop Your World is perfect for lounging on deck on your Disney Cruise or a day at Castaway Cay. This shop actually has a lot of swimsuit options for the entire family.

The Mickey and Minnie two piece suit also has matching family items, and the Ariel swimsuit is plus-side friendly.
Bright and Colorful Swimsuits for Your Disney Vacation
One of the perks of going on a Disney Cruise is stopping at either Castaway Cay or Lookout Pointe in the Bahamas. Both islands are reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests, offering a fully immersive, Disney-operated experience with themed entertainment, pristine private beaches, and convenient buffet-style dining.

If you want a swimsuit that matches the island's bright and colorful vibes, these three suits make for great options for getting those beach photos with Mickey and Minnie.
Disney Toddler Swimsuits for Your Disney Vacation
There is no shortage of Disney cuteness when it comes to swimsuits for toddlers. You can find a variety of suits from Amazon, Kohl’s, and Old Navy, but we’ve rounded up a few of our favorites.

Disney Youth Swimsuits for Your Disney Vacation
Finding Disney swimsuits for the kids who aren’t toddlers anymore is a little bit more difficult. As a mom of a taller than average girl, finding Disney themed items in a bigger size feels impossible.

Whether you have a younger kid who is already in tween sizing or a tween who loves to wear Disney themed items, these swimsuits are great for your Disney vacation!
Disney Swim Trunks for Your Disney Vacation
We found a few fun character prints, especially for the kids, plus a couple of classic Mickey styles and options that are easy to coordinate without feeling over the top.

The kid prints are honestly the most fun with bold colors, big character graphics, and the kind of swim trunks they’ll be excited to wear all day. You can also find a list of rash guard-friendly items here!
Disney Themed Poolside Favorites
Now that we’ve found you the perfect Disney themed swimsuit, we thought we’d also share some of our favorite items for the pool or the beach.

All of these items are so cute and perfect for staying on theme for your sun-filled day.
We hope you now have some swim inspiration for your vacation. Let us know what swimsuits you grab for you and your family!
