Outfit ideas and themes for Disney's most eclectic theme park
Theming your outfit to the parks is part of the fun of a Disney vacation, but if this is your first trip, Epcot can be tricky. We love getting to plan and create customized outfits for our clients at Epcot, as it has so much to offer. There is A LOT going on at this amazing theme park, and it has a lot of niche characters and attractions.
So, if you’re not a regular, it might be hard to navigate a theme here. But fear not, we’ve come up with a few outfits based on Disney characters that you might not realize are here in this park!

Mickey and Friends

These classic characters are often out greeting guests at various locations, but with the opening of CommuniCore Hall, they will have a permanent spot when this section of Epcot opens this summer!
You can meet Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto at this location, so any classic character outfit will work perfectly! We are hoping that Daisy and Pluto will continue to meet guests throughout the park as well.
Mickey Mouse

You can't go wrong in any park with a Mickey Mouse outfit. Mickey meets guests at every Disney World theme park, including Epcot. We wanted to create a neutral outfit for the main mouse. If you’re traveling during the summer, a great way to beat the heat is to wear a romper. This simple black one is just one layer, making it cooler, but cute. You can choose which hair accessory you prefer, but we loved the hat and ears options!
Goofy

Epcot is one of the few places you can meet Goofy at the parks without character dining or a party ticket! We’ve met him a few times at the front entrance to Epcot, and we have great memories here. We wanted to create a casual look for your day, so we added these really fun athletic skorts to represent his orange shirt. Also, when I was little, the Goofy character hat was one of the classic items I remember, and I just think it’s so fun! We are also obsessed with the Goofy Hat claw clip from A Britt Crafty Shop on Etsy!
Daisy Duck

Miss Daisy Duck has been a longtime favorite. With her high fashion and queen attitude, her character interactions are always fun! You can often find her at the skyliner entrance near the France and U.K. pavilion!
We wanted to create a look that was comfortable, but still cute for a day at the parks. Swap out the dress for a plain purple color, and you can dress down or dress up this option as much as you want.
Moana
With the Journey of Water attraction now open, you can plan outfits for any of your Moana favorites! Journey of Water is an interactive walk-through attraction. It combines all of the senses and embraces the playful side of water.
There are plenty of beautiful spots for photos, such as Te Fiti, which is incredible at night. Moana also greets guests during the day right outside this location.

While skorts may look fancy, I think they are the most comfortable bottom piece to wear to the theme parks. I consider t-shirts and skorts to be my official theme park uniform. We love the color combo of this t-shirt from LBV. This outfit is great for exploring Journey of Water, meeting Moana, or if you're lucky enough to catch Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival! Moana and Maui topiaries greet you at the entrance of Epcot this year. Grab this outfit and take a photo with the dynamic duo!
Disney Princesses

One of the best parts about World Showcase is that you can find the princesses in their respective countries. We’ve spotted Belle and Aurora in France, Jasmine in Morocco, Snow White in Germany, Mulan in China, and Anna and Elsa in Norway.
These princesses tend to show up at various times throughout the day, but you can ask a cast member for the exact location during your trip. This can be a really fun theme to outfit plan for since most people associate princesses with Magic Kingdom, but Epcot is the perfect place for you to represent your favorite girl! If you need further Princess inspo, you can check out our Princess Blog here!
Belle

Another one of our favorite princess outfits is Belle’s classic blue dress. We love how simple and yet iconic this dress is for our generation. So, we wanted to play into that casual look, as it’s also what Belle wears when you meet her in the France pavilion! We added details of books and her favorite furniture friends to tie it all together.
Guardians of the Galaxy

This is my favorite attraction here at Epcot. Cosmic Rewind is an inside roller coaster with six 80’s themed songs chosen at random. So, every time you ride, you can get a different song! This ride has been known to make guests sick, so please be aware if you are prone to motion sickness. But, even if you don’t want to ride the coaster, you can still snap a picture with the Xandarian Star Blaster, which is located outside of the attraction.

If you wanted to channel your inner Star-Lord, but don’t want to sweat to death in
leather and pants, we created an option that will be cooler and much more comfortable. Again, you can easily swap out your favorite Guardians characters for this look, but we were a little obsessed with the cassette tape crossbody and wanted to play off of that! But, with a gray two-piece, you can mix and match with greens for Gamora or black and whites for Rocket.
There are so many more ideas we can think of, so please let us know if you need any help planning your outfits for Epcot through our outfit planning services! You can also check out our tees, earrings, and bags for even more inspo! And remember, theme park fashion doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to make you smile.
