With summer coming to an end, that means Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival is just getting started. The 2026 Epcot event runs from August 26th-November 21st. Dates can vary year to year, as in the past they’ve started as early as July and as late as September.

Personally, we are grateful that they have moved it to the end of August this year, as sipping cheddar cheese soup when it’s 110 degrees in July just doesn’t feel right. You can find this year's menu here, thanks to Undercover Tourist. It's hard to pick a favorite from this festival, but a few of my favorites will be found near the Imagination! Pavilion.

The Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli from the Forest and Field booth was my favorite dish last year and the Spiced Apple Rum Old Fashion from the Bramblewood Bites booth was my favorite drink. The decor is also a superb over near these booths and I sat for a while to take in the details here. It's cozy, cute, and almost makes your forget it's 100 degrees.

So, is there anything else to do at this festival besides eat and drink? Absolutely! Obviously the start of the show is the food, but there are other festival exclusive activities you can enjoy.

One of the first things you should do when entering Epcot is grab a free Food and Wine Passport. Not only is this your guide to all of the food and drink booths, but it also contains a food challenge! Emile's Fromage Montage is an activity that rewards you for eating certain items from the festival that contain cheese.

If you purchase any of the qualifying items, a cast member will stamp your passport. Once you've collected all the stamps, you can redeem your prize at Shimmering Sips. You don't even have to eat different items.

If there is a certain item on the list that you eat twice, it still counts! Fair warning, the prize is usually MORE food, so if you're full, just prepare yourself! You can watch my husband and I attempt to complete all three challenges here on out vlog!

Eat to the Beat Concert Series at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival

This festival celebrates music and hosts my favorite concert series of the entire year, Eat to the Beat. I feel like this festival, more than any other, plays into the hearts of millennials.

They’ve hosted a variety of bands from multiple genres of music. From bands like Hoobastank to Hanson, this festival provides a free concert to anyone with a theme park ticket to Epcot. You can purchase reserved seating with select dining packages. For a list of qualifying restaurants and this year's line up, check out Disney's website for more information.

But, it will always have my heart due to the fact that Joey Fatone and Friends typically make an appearance. For those of you that do not know, Joey Fatone was my favorite member of *Nsync and my official crush as a teenager. So yes, Eat to the Beat will always be “that girl” for me!

Pumpkin's Pluto Pursuit at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival

There are also activities that you and your kids can enjoy. Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit is a scavenger hunt where you find different painted pumpkins throughout Epcot. You will need to purchase a map to participate in this game. Prices were around $12 dollars last year.

I really like this one because it's fun to see what kind of pumpkins you're going to discover on your hunt. We saw everything from Groot to Joy! Once you complete your map, you can redeem it for a prize. It's usually a Halloween themed game of some sort. Last year it was a mini bag set.

These can be hard to spot. I am not kidding, we ran into other adults who could not find the Wall-E themed ones last year! Just remember, you can always ask for a hint from a cast member.

Remy's Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Challenge at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival

Another type of scavenger hunt you can enjoy at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival is Remy's Ratatouille Hide and Squeak. This is another scavenger hunt that involves finding statues of Remy throughout Wold Showcase.

Just like Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit, you do need to purchase this map to participate. But that also means you will be rewarded with a prize. Last year's prize was a character themed bento box. We've also received a character themed lunchbox in previous years.

If you only have one day at Epcot and are worried about not being able to complete the challenge, have no fear! You don’t have to finish the entire map to claim your prize. To purchase a game board and to claim your prize, head to the following location:

  • Creations Shop

What to Wear to Food and Wine Festival

So, what do you wear to a festival that’s dedicated to food and wine? Out of all the Epcot Festivals, this is probably the least Disney themed, but we’ve rounded up a few staples that will have you sipping and eating in style.

And don’t forget to check your closet before you start purchasing!

Ratatouille Food and Wine Festival Outfit

We are starting with the theme that is most popular at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, and that is Ratatouille. It just makes the most sense to have the tiny chef as the mascot for an event that revolves around food. From Emile’s Fromage Montage, to Remy merch, Ratatouille plays a big part in the theming of the festival.

This outfit brings together comfort and cute, as these shorts are on theme, but have an elastic waistband for us girlies who take eating around the world as a serious task. 🙋‍♀️

Flat lay collage of a Gusteau’s T-shirt, red gingham shorts, white sneakers, red Minnie ears, themed Loungefly backpack, and cheese and chef hat accessories inspired by Remy for EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival.

We will also link a skirt option if that’s more your vibe! But my favorite park of this outfit? The cheese claw clip. Not only is it perfect for this Ratatouille theme, but typically France has some sort of bread item that’s stuffed with cheese, and it’s always my favorite item no matter the variation.

Muppet Labs Food and Wine Festival Outfit

Not only does the Food and Wine festival host my favorite boy band singer of all time, but it also celebrates my favorite IP in the world, the Muppets!

It’s getting harder and harder to find the Muppets throughout Disney Parks, but luckily Beaker and Bunson are over in the Odyssey Pavillion cooking up new creations for you to enjoy. Although, I may never quite understand how the Swedish Chef isn’t more of a mascot here. There’s always room for more Muppets, Disney!

Disney outfit flat lay inspired by Muppet Labs featuring a black graphic T-shirt, yellow skort, black high-top sneakers, purple sequin Minnie ears, Beaker earrings, a red crossbody bag, colorful bracelet and science-themed ring.

This outfit might be better for the later festival months, as August and September can still be brutal in Florida. However, the shirt does come in a short sleeve option if you search it on Amazon, but I really liked the baseball tee version. The choker necklace reminded me of an atom, which really fits perfectly into Beaker and Bunson’s vibe. Also, I am so happy to report that we even have Muppet Lab merch this year! You can find an entire collection over at the Creations shop.

Champagne Problems Food and Wine Festival Outfit

We featured this look over on our Taylor Swift Inspired Outfits, but we wanted to give it a little update for anyone who isn’t a Swiftie.

Even though this festival is titled Food and WINE, there are plenty of opportunities to sip on champagne throughout the festival.

Champagne Problems Outfit
Flat lay collage of a pink sundress, rose-gold Minnie ears, champagne glass earrings, metallic sandals, and a novelty champagne bottle purse styled for EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival.

This pink dress goes perfectly with accents of either silver or gold. And the crossbody keeps going in and out of stock, so keep checking if this is a must-have for you!

We hope you are able to check out Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival this year. It offers so many wonderful food, drink and entertainment options. Let us know your favorite outfit, or your favorite dish in the comments! And remember, theme park fashion doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to make you smile!
