I feel like there has always been a connection between Taylor Swift fans and Disney fans. Maybe it’s because Taylor’s early music was a lot about love and chasing dreams, which are themes in most Disney movies. And as both Taylor and Disney have grown, they both seem to encourage female empowerment and standing up for what you believe in, no matter the cost.

Whatever the reason may be, this post is for the Disney fans who are looking to incorporate Taylor into their Disney vacation outfits. In true Swiftie form, we’ve planned outfits around 5 Eras that we felt best tied Disney rides, attractions, and movies into Taylor songs. If you are interested in a customized Taylor-inspired look, you can check out our outfit planning services, and we’ll plan something that’s curated to your style and sizing preferences!

As with most Disney outfits we style, these outfits were planned to be worn in the parks, so we’ll also list the best places to wear these looks. However, we FULLY believe in wearing what makes you happy, so keep that in mind as we discuss these looks. These are just our thoughts and opinions, so take it for what you will! Now, let us Speak Now on our Taylor Swift Inspired Outfits for Disney.

The Tortured Poets Department x Mickey Outfit

We are going to work our way backwards through these Eras, starting with Taylor’s latest release, TTPD. When I heard Florida!!!, my first thought was…”Is this play about us?!!”. It immediately made me think of us Disney Adults and how we tend to use the parks as our escape from all of our adult problems. And who do we blame for that? Well, the mouse that started it all, Mickey, of course. 😆

There were plenty of Disney-inspired Florida!!! shirts that were released after this album dropped, but we really loved this design by The Lost Bros. The color combo is perfect for the TTPD aesthetic, and we also love that you can wear this shirt into ANY park. Which is why Mickey is a great character to add to the outfit because he is the only character that you can meet in every single park!

Evermore x Food & Wine Problems Look

Deciding what booths to try at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival can be a real problem. If you’ve only got one day on your vacation, it’s hard to fit all of the delicious choices into a small time frame. So many booths, with so little time can make you feel stressed and give you some…champagne problems.

We really leaned into the colors of champagne for this look, but also realized that it’s a tough color to wear as the main attraction. So, we opted for pink, as it can be more flattering for all kinds of skin tones. The champagne purse is our favorite accessory of this look, but if you’re looking for something a little more subtle, the earrings are a great option. While we thought this look would be a fantastic spin on the Food & Wine Festival, it doesn’t have to be a seasonal option. You could wear this to Epcot and get some really gorgeous photos in the France Pavilion year-round!

Reputation x Don’t Blame Daisy Mashup Outfit

We’ve reached my personal favorite album and era, Reputation. This Era and album is most known for its elements of snakes and darker themes, and while that is true, it is my favorite album because I think it actually represents love. I remember this album being so exciting because Taylor basically went into hiding, and we hadn’t heard new music from her in three years. With all the promotion of snakes, everyone expected this to be a revenge album. But in reality, this album was about finding love during the darkest times. Tough on the outside, but soft on the inside.

And who does that remind me of in the world of Disney? None other than Miss Daisy Duck. Unlike her BFF Minnie, Daisy has a little bit more sass, and her relationship with Donald is very relatable. 😆 Ups and downs, but lots of love at the end of the day! When I saw this shirt, I knew I had to create a look for my girl Daisy. We often like to give options of casual vs. a little more dressy, so that’s what we did here! We styled the blacks that represent Reputation, but blended that with soft pinks to tie in my girl and the elements of love throughout the album. Daisy is often found in both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, so we figured these outfits would work in either of those parks so you can snap a photo with the queen!

1989 x Out of Woods, Into the Castle Look

1989 was a turning point for me with Taylor Swift. While I had always liked her music within the country genre, she wasn’t someone who I claimed as my favorite artist. That is, until I heard Shake it Off. This album was a game changer for me, as I finally realized her range of talent. It went beyond a girl with a guitar. I think I listened to the entire album nonstop for two months, which is saying something because normally during the holidays, it’s Christmas music only for me! My all-time favorite song from Taylor is on this album - Wildest Dreams. Even after all these years, it still takes my #1 spot.

If you are looking for cute Taylor x Disney-inspired shirts, do yourself a favor and check out Third Wish Designs. She has so many adorable crossover shirts, and we’ve personally purchased from her and can confirm that they are high quality with amazing customer service! We wanted this outfit to be full of color. HOT TAKE, but we still love the pinks that are in Cinderella’s Castle from the 50th anniversary. You can decide if you want to go more bold or soft with the pinks, but either way, you can’t go wrong! Since the shirt is calling out the castle, we think Magic Kingdom would be the best place to wear this outfit. And remember, if the front of the castle is too crowded for pictures, head to the side or the back. There’s no such thing as a bad view of Cindy’s palace!

Speak Now x Leave Me Haunted at the Mansion Ensemble

I did not fully appreciate this album when it was released. I of course enjoyed the singles that were released, but it wasn’t until I listened to it later in my adult life that I really understood its meaning and Taylor’s talent as a writer at such a young age. When people criticize her for only writing about love and heartache, I always point to the fact that she was 18-20 years old when she wrote this album. When I was 18-20 and in college, love and heartache were big parts of my life! This is such a beautiful album, and Long Live continues to be in my Top 5 favorite songs.

One could argue that this outfit might not be the most practical look to wear at Magic Kingdom. Are the shoes extra? Yes. Is the dress extra and might be a little uncomfortable? Probably. Is this a fun outfit to wear and get photos in front of the Haunted Mansion? Also yes. We would not recommend this look as something you should pack and wear on a Disney vacation that you’re planning with family and only have a few days. This look is more for locals who have the opportunity to pop in for a few hours. However, we’ve linked a few more practical items below if this look is something you’d like to wear all day at Magic Kingdom.

There are so many looks you can create that tie in Taylor Swift for your Disney vacation. If any of these looks inspire you, we’d love to see how you style them! Make sure you tag us over on Instagram so we can see your creativity.

And remember, theme park fashion doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to make you smile!
